เรื่องย่อ Orange is the New Black ดัดแปลงมาจากหนังสือ Orange is the New Black : My Year in a Women s Prison ของ Piper Kerman ที่เธอเขียนจากประสบการณ์จริงที่เคยได้ไปนอนซังเตมา  และโปรดิวเซอร์ Jenji Kohan ที่เคยทำเรื่อง Weeds ก็ได้หยิบขึ้นมาทำเป็นซีรี่ส์  นำเสนอผู้หญิงในหลากหลายรูปแบบ เชื้อชาติ รูปร่างหน้าตาและปัญหาหนักๆที่เกิดขึ้นจริงในสังคมแต่สอดแทรกความตลกไม่ให้เครียดเกินไปกระนั้นก็ได้น้ำได้เนื้อและเอาไปขบคิดต่อทีหลังได้  ตัวละครแต่ละตัวต่างมี flaw ของตัวเอง  ส่วนที่น่าสนใจนอกจากบรรยากาศในคุกที่ไม่เหมือนเรื่องไหนๆแล้ว ภาพ flashback ของตัวละครในแต่ละตอนที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของผู้หญิงแต่ละคนว่าทำไมพวกเธอถึงมาลงเอยในคุกก็ยังน่าติดตาม ทำให้คุณสนใจที่จะดูและลุ้นว่าตอนต่อๆไปจะเป็นเรื่องราวในอดีตของใคร เครดิตซับไทยคุณ shalex ขอบคุณครับ [+18]
